Shelley in a spread for Harper's Bazaar, July 1976
Shelley appeared on the pages of Harper's Bazaar in July of 1976 in a spread called "Bazaar Bargains: Fresh & Fabulous Summer Clothes For $25 Or Less." The spread featured fashions that were recommended by the mag for the coming summer season. It showed readers the "kind of clothes you're looking for now" - sexy evening dresses, tops, pants and summer dresses to wear in either the city or the country.
Shelley wearing The Super Slicker
Shelley modeled The Super Slicker, a light zip-front jacket in white and navy. It had two zip-up pockets plus an extra one on the sleeve for sunglasses. By Weather Tamer, it was priced at $14. But Shelley made it look so fab, it looked like a designer piece.
Shelley wearing The White Shirt & Pants ensemble
Shelley also modeled The White Shirt & Pants ensemble, a summer staple for any season. The one-pocket shirt was priced at $22. The zip-front pants cost $19. Both pieces were from Irka by Bern Conrad. Finished with a fancy scarf worn as a belt around the waist, the outfit was a super chic summer option that looked just fabulous on Shelley.
