Shelley in a spread for Seventeen mag, 1971
Shelley appeared on many spreads for Seventeen magazine throughout her modeling career. In Feb of 1971, she appeared in a spread called "Knitty Midi Mania" where she modeled fashion separates that could be made by readers. Anyone with knitting needles and an artistic fashion flair could make their mark in the fashion world with the pieces on the spread.
Shelley modeling the Divide and Conquer fashion pieces
on a spread for Seventeen mag, 1971
Shelley wore the Divide and Conquer pieces made up of a scoop-neck midriff-bearing crop top with short sleeves and a matching midiskirt. Picot edging and frilling adorned the scooped neck, the end of the sleeves and the hem of the skirt. Accessories like a choker by House of Joy, a statement knitted belt, sandals by Sbicca and various hair clips finished her look. And Shelley looked spectacular.
