Shelley appeared in many ads throughout her Supermodel days. In 1974, she appeared in a Jacques Réval fashion ad. Jacques Réval was a Parisian couturier who operated a small atelier starting in the 1960s in Paris. The designer created holiday attire for the wealthy but mainly produced evening fashions to which he added sequins, embellishments and unusual appliqué as details. Shelley's Réval ad appeared in the December 1973/January 1974 issue of Vogue Paris which was dubbed "Par Marlene Dietrich" or "By Marlene Dietrich" who was the acting Editor-in-Chief of the magazine for that issue. It was part of a series of French Vogue issues that collaborated with artists, film and fashion luminaries (like Dietrich, Roman Polanski, Marc Chagall...), commissioning them to act as EIC for one particular issue.
