Shelley appeared on various issues of the French edition of Elle magazine during her modeling days. Elle is a worldwide lifestyle mag that originated in France. It featured the latest fashion, health trends, beauty trends and advise, as well as entertainment trivia. Shelley had appeared on the mag's cover (check out: Elle Cover and Re-post of Elle 1973 ) as well as on various spreads featured in the stylish mag. In December of 1974, she appeared on the feature called "What Does Fashion Mean?", a survey about what readers thought about fashion at that moment. Shelley modeled the newest winning look at the time, the Sporty Style. She wore a shirt-over-pants outfit topped with a sporty-style jacket and finished it with comfy wedge footwear. A scarf and a large tote bag accessorized her look. And Shelley looked every bit the chic 1970s gal of the moment.
