Shelley was among the models who appeared in a spread for Vogue wearing Halston's latest collection for 1972. Vogue ran pictures of Halston in their December 1972 issue with models wearing his latest designs. Fashion designer Halston rose to international fame in the 1970s and was considered one of the most revolutionary designers of the time. His goal was to simplify fashion, clean it up of details that weren't needed. His designs focused on comfort and his material of choice were cashmere and Ultrasuede.

Recently, houstonpress.com listed down the 10 Best Original Television Shows Set in Houston and put Shelley's 1983 TV series Cutter to Houston at no. 7 on the list. It said "despite how eye-rollingly early '80s it is, it was actually a pretty good show." Cutter to Houston was a short-lived series but was well-written and had a solid cast. Unfortunately, sleeper hits weren't even heard of those days, so the show got cancelled before it had a chance to take off.

Shelley was THE ultimate Charlie Girl. Her image catapulted the brand to iconic status and made the Revlon line one of the most successful in the world. Shelley was the brand's image model for almost seven years and she became more and more gorgeous as those seven years went by.

Shelley modeled knit gloves by Aris in 1977. Dubbed as Aris Applaud Gloves, the hand accessories were being promoted as essentials for creating a classic, thoroughbred-American look. Whether you're dressed up or down, there a pair for everything. And Shelley showed everyone how to wear them.

Rare Appearance in 2009

Shelley made a very rare public appearance back in July, 2009 at the Hollywood Collector's Show in Burbank, California. Prior to that, Shelley was last seen at The Oprah Winfrey Show in 2008. But her last appearance before that was in 2000 - on A&E Biography Channel's Hello Angels Week. She guest-hosted her fellow Charlie's Angels cast mates (as well as movie Angel Drew Barrymore's) biographies. In the years between, she was very busy with SHMC, her international media consultancy company. Let's hope Shelley makes more public appearances this year because her fans miss seeing her.

In 1979, Shelley starred in Death Car on the Freeway, one of the most memorable TV movies of that year. Her co-stars were some of Hollywood's golden era actors like George Hamilton, Barbara Rush, Frank Gorshin, Dinah Shore and Peter Graves. Directed by stuntman Hal Needham, the film is well-paced and a good watch. It also has an action packed ending.

Sensational Tops

Shelley modeled "Sensational Little Tops" on JCPenney's Spring  and Summer catalog for 1973. She wore the "latest Fashion excitement", a pretty floral and checks puffed-sleeved blouse. And of course, Shelley looked sensational in it.
