The Glamour of Gold 3
Shelley in a spread for Vogue, 1974
Shelley appeared in many issues of Vogue during her tenure as a Supermodel. In the mags October 1974 issue, she appeared on the spread called "The Glamour of Gold" where she modeled simple seasonless evening wear in black with touches of gold.

She modeled a black gown that was perfect for big evenings. It was a long, soft, slinky number with a blouson top and tiny string straps by Shannon Rodgers for Jerry Silverman. A golden belt, some gold jewelry and a sliver of gold sandals finished her look. She looked perfect for those big formal holiday evening gatherings.

She also modeled a look for those more casual evenings, of course in black as well. She wore a shirt in black jacquard crêpe de Chine over a pair of evening twill trousers which were available at Bonwit Teller. She also wore a black chiffon scarf by Hermes under the collar. Gold accessories around her neck and wrists as well as golden sandals finished her look. And Shelley looked sensational.
At An Unveiling 3

Shelley attended the Unveiling of a Serigraph of Senator Ted Kennedy's painting Hyannis Port Compound in November of 1987. It was a dinner party as well as a benefit for the Very Special Arts and was held in Jimmy's Restaurant in Beverly Hills, California. Shelley was escorted by her future husband director Harry Winer.
Contemporary Fashions 3
Shelley in an ad spread for Celanese Contemporary Fibers, 1965
One of Shelley's first ad spreads came out during her first year of modeling, in 1965, for Celanese Contemporary Fibers. With the theme "how to dress for your boyfriend", she wore fashions that was sure to please any young lady's main man (so retro). To please foreign diplomat Dan, Shelley donned an evening look by Jovi's that had a new slant neckline for the holidays that year. She modeled a sleeveless white top with lace and satin detailing on the neckline over a mocha-colored long skirt with a modest slit on the side. Matching pumps finished her look. She also sported a beehive hairdo which was very popular and chic in the 1960s. And Shelley looked like the perfect arm candy for any foreign diplomat.

Recipe for the Holidays 2
Shelley's recipe for Green Apple Pie
In the late '70s, Shelley bought a farm in upstate New York and renovated it herself. There, she smoked fish; she grew vegetables, flowers, herbs and roots; she pressed her own cider; she made her own preservatives jams, jellies and chutneys; and she baked her own bread and pies, a joy to her. She was and is fond of baking apple pies and had shared her recipe for baking Green Apple Pie in 1980, a great recipe to use for the holidays.

Shelley appeared in many catalogs throughout her modeling career. One of them was the Saks Fifth Avenue catalog Folio Collections. Saks Fifth Avenue is a high-end department store located in Manhattan, New York City, that sells luxury goods. In the Folio Collections: Saks Fifth Avenue Signs of Spring and Summer 1973 catalog, she appeared in the spread called "Fire Up Your Game", she modeled sports outfits available at Saks Women's Active Sportswear Collections. She wore an acrylic bouclé knit tennis outfit that had striped detailing on the chest. A sportswatch and matching headband finished her look. And Shelley looked fab for that summer season.
