Shelley appeared on the cover as well as in many spreads throughout Seventeen magazine's November 1970 issue. In the spread called "Buzz Off in a Roadster, Play it Plushy... You'll Stop Traffic!", she modeled velvety-soft greatcoats that were purry as a well-tuned engine, that were warmed up and ready to travel and that would make any girl feel like an heiress - all of which were practical for fending off showers and shivers. She wore a double-breasted brown classic coat that was narrow at the top and flared at the bottom. It had snazzy lapels as well as hideaway pockets. It was by Larry Levine. Stretch boots by Latinas and a tasseled choker by Marne finished her look. And Shelley looked fashionably ready for those rainy days.

for Trackdown: Finding the Goodbar Killer, 1983

In 1983, Shelley co-starred in the TV movie Trackdown: Finding the Goodbar Killer with George Segal, who played Detective John Grafton, a New York City detective looking for the murderer of a schoolteacher who happened to be a good friend of Logan Gay, the character played by Shelley. The movie was based on fact. It's about the investigation on the brutal murder of a young school teacher during the Christmas season in New York in the 1970s. In the telefilm, after a bumpy first meeting, Logan eventually becomes Grafton's' love interest. Shelley and George Segal would eventually work together again in 1992, in the feature film Me Myself and I.

Shelley was THE quintessential Charlie Girl and appeared in many, many ads for the brand. In 1976, she appeared in a newspaper ad for Charlie that offered "Charlie's Body-and-Soul Set" as a dividend. It was a promo that offered customers a chance to purchase the Revlon Charlie Body-and-Soul Set (which contained Charlie perfume and various Charlie skincare products which cost $19.75) for only $4.75 for any purchase of $5.00 or more from the Charlie Collection. Shelley, of course, appeared in the ad for this promo.

Shelley's third foray into series TV was Jack and Mike. It was about a married yuppie couple living in Chicago, trying to find time for each other in their busy schedules. Shelley played Jackie Shea, a star columnist at The Mirror, a widely-circulated Chicago paper. Her column was awaited by everyone every week. Her husband was Mike Brennan (played by Tom Mason), a successful restaurateur about to open his third restaurant. In the episode "High Anxiety," Jackie tries to steer a talented graffiti artist towards a more conventional artistic path. Also, a famed comedy team that frequents Mike's restaurant brings in so much business, as well as other things. The episode was originally aired in November 11, 1986.

To continue, Mike calls Belinda to his office at 1935 to talk to her about  Animals Crackers member Ben and what he caught him doing at the men's room. He tells her he's not going to tolerate anybody doing drugs in any of his restaurants. Belinda swears she had no idea Ben was doing cocaine. Mike tells her that if he catches anyone with drugs in his premises again, he will call the cops on them. He assures Belinda that he's only concerned about the future of Animal Crackers, because he knows drugs will destroy that; and since she's joining their act, he doesn't want Belinda to be involved in any of that. Belinda understands. Meanwhile, Jackie goes on a graffiti art tour around the city with artist Samantha. Jackie is impressed but informs Sam that, as impressive as her art is, she has a limited audience, limited by the location of her artwork. Later, Belinda goes to see Ben and tells him about her talk with Mike. Ben tells her he has everything under control and that he'll take care of Mike. And they kiss.

Shelley was one of the most visible Supermodels of the 1970s. She appeared on many magazines covers around the world. In April of 1972, Shelley appeared on the cover of the Italian magazine Grazia (Grace). First published in 1938, Grazia is a weekly women's magazine that originated in Italy and has since spawned numerous international editions. The magazine was originally patterned after the American magazine Harper's Bazaar and featured fashion and beauty as well as homemaking and child-rearing articles.

1985 Thriller

Shelley was one busy actress in the 1980s. She appeared in various stage and screen (big and small) productions. In 1985, she appeared in the TV movie Kicks with soap superstar Anthony Geary. The movie was about a San Francisco college teacher, Maggie (Shelley), who had a penchant for living on the edge and engaging in dangerous, life-threatening activities. She meets her match in mysterious millionaire Martin Cheevers (Geary) who takes her on a ride of her life - from one dangerous thrill to another. Eventually, the thrill becomes too dangerous and Maggie finds herself in peril. Tom Mason played Caleb, Maggie's boyfriend; and his chemistry with Shelley was so evident that it wasn't surprising he was cast as Mike Brennan, Jackie's husband, in Shelley's TV series Jack and Mike a year later.

on Simpsons-Sears Spring and Summer 1975 catalog

Simpsons-Sears was a joint venture between the Simpsons department store chain in Canada and the Sears department store chain in the US. The joint venture began in around 1953. Shelley appeared on many catalogs for Simpsons-Sears in the 1970s. She appeared in several spreads throughout Simpsons-Sears Spring and Summer 1975 catalog. In the spread called "Spring Shirt Tales," she modeled the Big-Value, Big Fashion Print Shirt. The smart short-sleeved shirt had a collar and a front-button opening. It had cuffed sleeves and one pocket. The geometric print she wore was the Navy/Red combo but it also came in a Brown/Yellow combination. Shelley wore it with an equally smart-looking skirt and accessorized it with cool sunglasses and a matching bangle. Shelley looked sensational.
