Shelley was one of the highest paid models in the 1970s, a certified Supermodel. In June of 1974, she appeared on the pages of Vogue magazine in the spread called "Hot-Weather Dressing," where she modeled outfits the mag deemed as chic for that summer season. The spread featured skirts, tops, pants and dresses that worked and made summer dressing a breeze for anyone, everyday.

Shelley wore "The Coolest Pants-Dressing for the Hottest Days" look. It was a pink crinkle cotton blouse and pants ensemble. It was made up of a light loose mandarin-collared overblouse (so light it felt like you had nothing on) and matching cotton pants - perfect for hot summer days. It was a Delani design by Jeannene Booher. A matching headband, a pair of low summer sandals and a scarf cinched at the waist a finished her look. A gold bangle and sunglasses accessorized her look. And Shelley looked positively hot.
