Shelley appeared in many ads for Gay Gibson during her modeling days. In 1968, she appeared in an ad for Gay Gibson called "Gay Gibson's Djellabah Stripes." It featured up-to-the-minute vacation dresses spiced up with the exotic Moroccan colorings of indigo-green, saffron, yellow and white inspired by those far-away places. One of them was the Djellabah Swinger, a shift dress printed with a brilliant series of colorful zigs and zags. Matching sunglasses, earrings, a bracelet and chic flat footwear finished her look. And Shelley looked spicy and ready to vacay in any exotic locay.
