Many Supermodels at the time appeared in the most popular catalogs during the era like Cheryl Tiegs, Beverly Johnson, Patti Hansen and Shelley Smith, just to name a few. Many models who eventually became actresses also appeared in the catalogs like Veronica Hamel, Erin Grey, Kim Basinger and Pam Dawber.

Shelley appeared on the pages of Montgomery Ward's 1975 The Early Christmas Shopper's Book of Values catalog. In the spread called "You're All Aglow in Frosty Boucle Knits with Pastel Knit Pants," she wore separates that were a must for anyone's Christmas list that season - with its pieces in ice cream sundae colors with a bit of frosting. She wore the Tie Front Pullover (a knitted top with an attached tie detailed with candy-colored striping of coral, blue and green) over the coral-colored Pull-On Pant (holiday pastel-colored pants with slightly flared legs). She also wore the Twin Set (a sleeveless scoop neck top which came with a matching short-sleeved collared cardigan with turn-back cuffs and a self sash - both striped in meringue green and white) over the green Pull-On Pant. Gold earrings, a bracelet and matching footwear finished both her looks. And Shelley looked fabulous, all aglow, ready for that holiday season.
