Shelley in a spread
for the Seventeen: Accessories
for The New Looks and Lengths guide book, 1971
In 1971, Shelley appeared in a spread for the Seventeen: Accessories for The New Looks and Lengths guide book. In the spread called "The New You Review," she wore an outfit with components that tied her and her look together. The spread enumerated the current skirt lengths, hairdos, makeup styles, headgear, accessories, hose and footwear any young woman at the time should consider when putting together her new updated look for that season. In the spread, Shelley wore a roundneck long-sleeved knitted top over a textured skirt with a scalloped hemline. Matching hose and leather boots finished her look. A wide and fancy leather belt, a matching scarf, and a studded fun circular shoulder bag accessorized her look. With natural makeup and her hair neatly tied back, Shelley looked put together, stylish and very up-to-date.
