Fall-Winter 1972 issue
In the issue, Shelley appeared in the spread called "Wardrobe Investments... Sew Fabulous 'Round-The-Clock Mix-Matchers" - which featured patterns for mix-and-match wardrobe sets. Shelley wore Simplicity pattern number 5198. It was a pattern for an unlined jacket, skirts in two lengths and pants. Shelley wore the jacket and ankle-length skirt tandem. The top-stitched unlined jacket softly gathered to the waistband. It had a front button closing, a front band, forward shoulder seams, collar and long set-in sleeves that gathered to the armholes. The ankle-length skirt has top-stitched front pleats, a waistband and a back zipper closing. A tank top under her jacket, a matching belt and a pair of pumps finished her look. A flower pinned on her hair and brooches pinned on the jacket's collar accessorized her look. And Shelley looked young and fab in her mix-and-match outfit.
