Shelley was cover girl preppy on the cover of Mademoiselle in March of 1973. Mademoiselle was one of the leading women's magazines in the last century and was geared towards smart young women. Although primarily a fashion mag, it also published great works of literature as well as articles about women's issues and the like. After a decline in advertising revenues, the magazine was discontinued and its last issue was released in November of 2001. The end of a great era.
