Alive & Well was a daily weekday program aired over cable TV. It was a two-hour daily broadcast that was aired in the morning and repeated in the afternoon. It had a variety of hosts during its 1981 to 1986 run and many guest hosts in its later years. It featured segments on healthy living but in time would include current familiar daytime topics such as fashion advice and makeovers, child-rearing and aging, relationships and dating, cooking demonstrations and, of course, celebrity interviews. Shelley appeared on a March 1985 episode of the show. In the same episode, actor Dennis Weaver also appeared. "Overcoming Handicaps" was also a topic in that same episode.
