Shelley starred in the 1993 TV movie A Perry Mason Mystery: The Case of the Wicked Wives. It was a sort of tribute to the late, great Raymond Burr (Perry Mason himself) who succumbed to cancer a month before it was aired. The ailing Burr welcomed the "guest lawyer" concept, because it gave him the chance to recuperate from his illness while keeping the Perry Mason franchise alive. Unfortunately, his health deteriorated, and he passed away. Paul Sorvino played defense attorney Frank Caruso, who borrows Mason's office while he's "away on business". Real Life Supermodels Maud Adams, Kim Alexis, Shelley, Kathy Ireland and Beverly Johnson played the wicked wives.
The TV movie is now available on DVD as part of the Perry Mason Movie Collection Volume 5 (Aside from Caruso, Bill McKenzie, played by Hal Holbrook, also came in to use Mason's office.) Released last March 22, the 3-disc set comes with 5 other new-to-DVD Perry Mason telefilms. The DVD set includes:
