Shelley appeared on the pages of Bride's magazine's December 1967/January 1968 issue. In the spread called "Young Victorians Today," she modeled updated Victorian fashions for brides and bridesmaids. Shelley looked so chaste and sweet in the bridal fashions featured.

Shelley was already a Supermodel when she got her big break as Tiffany Welles in Charlie's Angels in 1979. After her Angels stint, she was determined to learn her craft and give this acting opportunity a try. In the 1980s, she earned positive reviews for her work in Martin Scorsese's The King of Comedy and Joseph Ruben's The Stepfather. She also starred in two more TC series, Cutter to Houston and Jack and Mike.

She modeled different kinds of lashes for different kinds of women, for different kinds of lifestyles and different moods. All any woman had to do was "eye-dentify' the lifestyle or mood she was in; and MOD Lashes would recommend the corresponding lash style. Career, Home-Loving, Outdoors and Child-At-Heart - style numbers 11, 16, 26 and 31 - were all modeled by Shelley. And Shelley captured every lifestyle and mood to a T.

Shelley starred in the TV movie Kicks in 1985 with soap superstar Anthony Geary. The pair played a couple who loved living on the edge. But when they both go too far, one of them reels back in horror. The film was released on VHS format and was renamed Destination Alcatraz for the European market. Let's hope it's released on DVD soon.

Shelley's first taste of international fame was as THE Charlie Girl in those Charlie Perfume ads. Her turn as the brand's spokes-model was such a worldwide success that, in 1978, a contest was held in several countries called The World Belongs to Charlie. In the UK, she appeared in the ad/entry form for the contest. By 1978, she had roamed the world as Charlie's ultimate brand ambassador had become a household name. Shelley's face and long-legged stride were synonymous to the brand.

Shelley guest starred in the short-lived series Married: The First Year in 1979. She appeared in the third episode called "Full House," as speech therapist Linda, the ex-girlfriend of newlywed Billy. It was Shelley's first guest-starring role.

Shelley appeared on the pages of Montgomery Ward Fall & Winter 1975 catalog. In the spread called "Smart Dressing Is Done in Parts," she modeled smart separates that could be worn mixed and matched. Shelley wore the "Bowed Jacket-Dress." The outfit came in "two beautifully tailored parts." One part was a dress with a blouse-style bow-necked bodice with button details that ended in an A-line skirt. The other was a "sweater-look cardigan jacket." The outfit was perfect for the cold months of 1975. And Shelley looked stunning in it.

Jumpsuit

Shelley appeared numerous pattern cover throughout her Supermodel career. In 1977, she appeared on the cover for See & Sew pattern no. 5937, a jumpsuit. The jumpsuit was semi-fitted, front-wrapped and straight-legged. It had a pointed convertible collar, and attached self-tie belt, pockets in the side seams and long sleeves. As always, Shelley looked stunning in it.

Shelley Hack in Malaysia

Shelley participated in the McDonald's-Sunday Mail Celebrity Tennis Event which was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in April 1986. Celebrities (including Peter Graves from the Mission Impossible TV series, Martin Cove from Cagney and Lacey and Deborah Raffin from Lace II) played mixed doubles tennis matches for charity. The paparazzi captured some snaps of the arriving celebrities. Shelley is the third one from the left.

Shelley appeared on many Sears catalog issues from the 1960s to the 1970s. In 1970, she appeared in the Sears 1970 Spring Through Summer catalog. In the spread called "The Going Greats Go Great All Summer," she modeled separates that could be mixed and matched. She wore The Tunic Jumper, a garment that could be worn as on its own or over something, and The Billowy-Sleeved Blouse, a long-sleeved blouse with a collar and an attached tie. She wore the aforementioned with and without The Straight-Legged Pants, a pair of printed pants with an elasticized waist. Matching footwear and a scarf tying back her hair finished her look. Shelley looked smashing.

She was a later addition to the hit series Charlie's Angels, replacing Kate Jackson in 1979. She was a familiar face to the viewing public, as she had graced the cover of many fashion magazine including Seventeen, Glamour, Mademoiselle and Vogue. But she was already famous as THE Charlie Girl for Revlon's Charlie line. In Angels, she played the role of Tiffany "Tiff" Welles, a graduate of the Boston Police Academy.

Shelley appeared on the pages of Montgomery Ward Fall & Winter 1975 catalog. In the spread called "Soft Spoken," she modeled a dress that could go from day to evening. The glamorous printed dress, which featured a splash of a flowers on a navy background, came in a long and short length versions - Shelley modeled the latter. The dress had short, almost-cap sleeves, a tie around the neck that could be bowed and a fitted bodice. It also came with its own matching bolero jacket. And Shelley looked fab in it.

Shelley appeared in an ad for Cover Girl in 1974. It was an ad for their new lipstick line and new range of colors namely: Natural Frost, Really Red, Breezy Pink, Natural Pink, Pink Frost, Fresh Peach , Copper Frost, Melon Frost, Ripe Strawberry, Soft Red, Pure Gloss and Wild Rose. The other notable models who appeared in the ad were Kim Basinger, Beshka Sorensen, Maud Adams and Susan Blakely.

In 1978, Shelley got her first leading lady role opposite screenwriter, director, producer, and composer Joe Brooks in the film If Ever I See You Again (which spawned the hit single with the same title - as interpreted by Roberta Flack). "A bomb!" she would later admit. When she walked in to audition for the role, she was immediately hired. Brooks thought she was perfect for the role. He also insisted she wore her glasses.

Shelley appeared on many ads for Butterick in the 1970s. In 1971, she appeared in a Butterick ad featuring ski fashions. The sew-and-ski suggestions were the things to sew before going skiing. Shelley wore Butterick pattern 6353, a duffle coat, in a fabric that was knit on the outside and pile on the inside or vise-versa. It was perfect for those cold winter skiing adventure. Shelley looked fab in it.

2009 Collectors Show

Shelley's public appearances have been rare and sporadic, that's why fans are always ecstatic whenever she decides to go out to meet them. One of those rare occasions was the Hollywood Collectors Show in 2009. It was a 2-day affair held in Burbank, California, on July of that year. It was also where Shelley, for the time, met fellow Charlie's Angel Tanya Roberts, so the it was quite a historic event. With the new Charlie's Angels movie coming out this November, will the original TOS Angels finally reunite for one historic photo shoot?

Horror writer Stephen King recently revealed his top 22 scariest horror movies of all time. King, whose works include The Shining, Pet Sematary, Misery and Carrie, listed down Joseph Ruben's The Stepfather as one of the scariest movies he had ever seen. With a cast lead by  Terry O'Quinn, Jill Schoelen and Shelley Hack, the movie follows the life of serial killer Jerry Blake (O'Quinn) as he becomes stepfather to Stephanie (Schoelen) after marrying her mother Susan (Ms. Hack). He recently killed everyone in his previous family. The 1980s movie is one of the best in the genre.

She also wore the Long-Sleeved Sweatshirt, which was similar to The Pullover except for the sleeves. With both, she wore the Work Pants which had 2 deep inseam pockets and an elasticized waist. Matching slip-ons finished her look. She also wore the Scarf Hat which was perfect for that neat casual look. Shelley looked smashing in all of them.

The Dickie

Shelley appeared in the booklet Wrights Idea Book of Trims in 1972. In one spread, she modeled a couple of dickies. According to the booklet, "A dickie is a 'fake' blouse. It looks like a blouse or a shirt but is only part of one. It has a narrower and shorter front and back with a completely finished neck. It is worn under a sweater, knit top or under a jacket."

She modeled a Mandarin-collared dickie with a sporty red woven band running around the collar and ending in a bow. She wore a black sweater over it. She also modeled a rich and heavily embroidered round neck dickie that was perfect to wear with so many things. In the pic, she wore it under a sunny yellow blazer jacket. In both combinations, Shelley looked fab.

Shelley appear in many modeling spreads throughout the 1960s and 70s. In 1972, she appeared in the spread Snazzy Bits It featured fashion pieces that could add a bit of jazz into any girl's wardrobe. She modeled two variations of Simplicity pattern 5175 - as a tunic length topper and as a midriff topper. The midriff topper was a shrink top in red and navy stripes and had a ribbed midriff. It looked great when worn over a shirt and tie combo. Matching pants finished her look. And Shelley looked FAB-U-LOUS.

Shelley became Charlie's Angel no. 5 in 1979. After a long search, producer Aaron Spelling thought she had the right bubble and intelligence that would suit the new Angel. Plus, she was a Supermodel, recognized by everyone as the fabulous Charlie Girl. Ed Lakso, a writer/producer on the show, "Believe it or not, the headline, "Charlie Girl becomes the new Charlie's Angel," carried a lot of weight."

She also modeled The Floral T-Shirt which also had a long sleeves, a jewel neck line and a hemmed bottom and was in a beige fabric with multi-colored posies. She wore that over The Cuffed Jeans, a pair of flared-legged jeans. A brown leather belt and brown leather footwear finished her look. Shelley looked smashing in the spread.
