She was one of the the well-known models of the era; and by 1978, she was so familiar to the public that her name would appear on some ads, such as a set of ads for Bobbie Brooks. Shelley had appeared in many of their ad campaigns; and in 1978, her name appeared a set of ads the company ran at that time. Other models that were featured and named in the ad campaign were Cheryl Tiegs, Maud Adams, Deborah Raffin, Suzanne Somers and Jessica Lange.
