Shelley was THE quintessential Charlie Girl and appeared in many, many ads for the brand. In 1977, she appeared in a newspaper ad for Charlie that was promoting their new makeup line called "New Makeup from Charlie with an added surprise 'Especially for you'" For any $3 purchase of Charlie cosmetics, customers could purchase the 3 1/2 oz Spray Cologne of Charlie for only $2.95. An artwork of Shelley appeared on on the ad, of course, and Shelley looked fab even in artwork.
