Shelley appeared in many mags throughout her modeling career. Early on, in October of 1965, she appeared in the "Dear Glamour' portion of Glamour magazine - which was a portion of the mag that gave readers fashion tips and advice on problems readers themselves would write in. One reader asked for an outfit appropriate for morning weddings. The mag recommended the wedding-guestlook, a velveteen overblouse which came with a matching alabaster wool coat and skirt set - all by Jr. Sophisticates. A beret by Adolfo and gloves by Wear-Right finished the look. And Shelley looked sophisticated indeed.

Blind Fear 1989 Movie

Shelley appeared in the film feature Blind Fear in 1989. She played Erika Breen - a blind employee at a New England lodge invaded by a gang of killers. Shelley had to wear contact lenses that blocked her vision for the role which literally made her blind. She really couldn't see anything while they were filming.

On the Box

Shelley was the quintessential Charlie Girl. She was the epitome of the brand's perfect woman - gorgeous, sexy, young, as well as independent, confident and free. A promotional campaign was created in 1980 loyal customers and interested consumers. Revlon Charlie coupons were printed in magazines. It gave buyers a huge discount when presenting the coupon upon purchase. The box used in the promo had Shelley's image on it and the tagline "Charlie Makes You A Star!". And Shelley definitely was a Revlon Charlie and Charlie's Angel star then.

Guest Spots on DVD

Some of Shelley's guest spots on several TV series are currently out on DVD. Shelley made a total of six guest appearances in her acting career so far. In 1979, she appeared in Married: The First Year (episode 3, "Full House"). In 1980, she appeared on The Love Boat. In 1993, she appeared in SeaQuest DSV and Tales from the Crypt. In 1994, she appeared in LA Law. And in 1997, she appeared in Diagnosis Murder. All her guest spots are currently out on DVD except for Married: The First Year  which was a short lived series that lasted for only 4 episodes. Nevertheless, let's hope it's released somewhere, maybe on Netflix or YouTube.

In 2005, the first season of SeaQuest DSV was released on DVD. The Steven Spielberg produced series was a science fiction show about the goings on in the  deep-submergence vehicle (DSV). Shelley appeared in the pilot episode "To Be Or Not To Be" as Capt. Marilyn Stark, the former captain of SeaQuest out to take revenge on her former colleagues. The episode is also in SeaQuest DSV The Complete Collection, a 20-disc pack released in 2013. It's also included in SeaQuest DSV The Complete Collection Limited Edition Aluminum Case, an 18-disc pack released in 2016.

In 2007, the sixth season on Tales on the Crypt was released on DVD. Shelley appeared in the episode "The Assassin". The episode is one of the most memorable in the entire series with its unique twist in the end. Shelley played Janet McKay, a helpless suburban housewife held hostage by assassins out to get her husband. Corey Feldman, Jonathan Banks and Chelsea Field also appeared in the episode.

In 2013, the sixth season of Diagnosis Murder was released on DVD. The 6-disc pack contained all episodes including "Looks Can Kill", the episode Shelley appeared in. She played Dr. Elaine Denell, a popular plastic surgeon who owns a profit-driven beauty clinic. She finds herself in hot water when one of her patients dies. Jill Whelan and Anthony Michael Hall appeared in the episode as well.

In 2016, the eight season of LA Law was released on DVD. Shelley appeared in the episode "Whose San Andreas Fault Is It Anyway" - as  Lynn Barnett, an ad agency exec accused of sexual harassment by her former subordinate and lover.  The episode was quite unique at the time because the sexual harassment defendant was a woman not a man. 

In January of 2017, the third season of The Love Boat was finally released on DVD. It came in two disc sets - Volume One and Volume Two. Shelley's episode appears in Volume Two. In the episode "Dumb Luck/Tres Amigos/ Hey, Jealous Lover, she played Carol Ketay, a nuclear physicist friend of Julie McCoy who had trouble getting a date. Julie advised Professor Carol to play dumb and see what happens. Carol is pleasantly surprised.

Moodier

Shelley appeared in many ads for Napier in the mid-1970s (The Napier Co. is an American jewelry manufacturing company that specialized in fashion-forward and affordable jewelry designs). In the ad "Napier is Moodier", she modeled a necklace and bracelet set that had both golden and silvery finishes. Shelley looked sensational in it.

New Sex Symbol

Shelley joined the cast of Charlie's Angels in 1979 and was immediately tagged as Tinseltown's newest sex symbol. Everyone wanted to meet the newest Angel in town and journalists scrambled to get an exclusive interview with her. Photo Screen magazine was able to get one with her in November of 1979. At the time, the series was still riding high in the ratings and Shelley was hot property. The interview gave fans a peek into Shelley's very private life.

News In Go-Coats: Snow Coats

Shelley began modeling in late 1964. She appeared on the cover and pages of Glamour magazine November that year. That same month, she appeared on the cover of Seventeen magazine (with teen Supermodel Colleen Corby). Inside, she appeared in her first ever spread for Seventeen. It featured fashions for frolicking in the snow.

In the one called "News In Go-Coats: Snow Coats", she modeled a hooded snow coat by Macwil, which was so cozy it was like wearing a warming hut, over a pair of stretch pants by aspen. Snow boots, a pair of sunglasses and an effervescent smile finished her look. And Shelley looked sensational in the snow.
