Shelley appeared on the pages of Seventeen magazine's August 1971 issue. In the spread called "Give Earth A Chance", she modeled outfits inspired by things that are natural. She modeled a black apple motif cardigan and shorts set over a body-cling shirt.A matching sash finished her look. She also modeled a black apple motif tasseled stocking cap with matching apple motif gloves. And she also modeled a knitted top (with a house motif) over a pair of hot pants which was accessorized with a cute cat motif belt. In all three outfits, Shelley looked 1971 teenage chic.
