At An Unveiling

Shelley attended the Unveiling of a Serigraph of Senator Ted Kennedy's painting Hyannis Port Compound in November of 1987. It was a dinner party as well as a benefit for the Very Special Arts and was held in Jimmy's Restaurant in Beverly Hills, California. Shelley was escorted by her future husband director Harry Winer.

Contemporary Fashions

One of Shelley's first ad spreads came out during her first year of modeling, in 1965, for Celanese Contemporary Fibers. With the theme "how to dress for your boyfriend", she wore fashions that was sure to please any young lady's main man (so retro). To please writer Allen, Shelley donned a dress by Leslie Juniors, a sleeveless above-the-knee dress with a ruffled neckline. It was in a luxurious pale blue brocade of acetate, cotton and nylon. A matching headband, white fishnets and pale blue pumps finished her look. And Shelley looked like a cure for writer's block.

Vanities in 1981

Shelley immediately jumped into theater-acting when she left Charlie's Angels via the play Vanities by Jack Heifner, alongside Meredith Baxter -Birney and Annette O' Toole. Staged at the Westside Playhouse in Los Angeles, the play was filmed on stage for HBO's Standing Room Only. "I don't know how I got the guts to go right into a play immediately after leaving the series," Shelley said. But her gamble paid off. Shelley won a critical acclaim for her role.

Saks Fifth Avenue Signs of Spring and Summer 1973

Shelley appeared in many catalogs throughout her modeling career. One of them was the Saks Fifth Avenue catalog Folio Collections. Saks Fifth Avenue is a high-end department store located in Manhattan, New York City, that sells luxury goods. In the Folio Collections: Saks Fifth Avenue Signs of Spring and Summer 1973 catalog, she appeared in the spread called "Our Tropical Toppings...". She modeled a tunic that cooled beautifully, especially over pants. It was a stylish top by DuPont that was sleeveless and had a collared V-neckline. It had a tunneled tie that let wearers could pull in the waist as preferred. A matching headband finished her look. And Shelley looked fab for that summer season.

Bright Touches 2

Shelley appeared in many brochures and leaflets during her tenure a Supermodel in the 1970s. In 1971, she appeared on the cover of the Columbia-Minerva leaflet called Chill Chasers. It contained "bright touches to warm gay spirits from top to toe". Shelley modeled design number CC-5, a cable car cap, which was perfect for the coming cold weather. Shelley, of course, looked sensational.

Dancing Angel

Shelley became one of Charlie's Angels in 1979, taking over the slot vacated by Kate Jackson. From then on, she became one busy actress/supermodel. Aside from her Angels schedule (Daily, she's up at 5 am for hair and makeup at 6 and is back in bed by 9:30 pm.), she also had her Revlon Charlie obligations to fulfill; so her time was divided between the east and west coasts. But Shelley was and is a trooper. She knows that hard work pays off.

Clever is the Password

Shelley appeared in many spreads throughout Seventeen magazine's November 1965 issue. In the spread called "Clever is the Password to Crochets", she modeled fashions that were perfect for winter evenings that year. Sweaters with the loving-hands look of crochet and matching pants were the choice for that season - and, of course, in soft pastels.

Shelley modeled a lacy blouson knit sweater in lavender pink which she wore over a pair of similar-colored wool covert pants that had the fine finish of doeskin. Fresh makeup and a simple brushed hairdo finished her look. Shelley looked ready for those cool winter evenings.
