Shelley in a spread for Harper's Bazaar, 1977
Shelley appeared in many spreads throughout Harper's Bazaar's Oct 1977 issue. In the spread called "Exciting New Basics", she modeled "The Classics of 1977", an array of winning fashion pieces that every woman could count on for that season, in fact, for any season. They were bright, beautiful basics in the latest shapes and fabrics that would make every woman look and feel great.

Shelley modeled the White Shirt-Jacket and Dirndl Skirt ensemble by Adolph Schuman Separates, a division of Lilli Ann. It had the ease and softness of a dress with the versatility of suit. The addition of a silk blouse or a cowl-neck sweater could change the look and mood of the ensemble; but Shelley opted for a simple knitted scarf, a cross bag, matching button earrings and a timepiece to finish her look. And she looked sensational.
