Shelley in a spread for Harper's Bazaar, 1977
Shelley appeared in many spreads throughout Harper's Bazaar Oct 1977 issue. In the spread called "Exciting New Basics", she modeled "The Classics of 1977", an array of winning fashion pieces that every woman could count on for that season, in fact, for any season. They were bright, beautiful basics in the latest shapes and fabrics that would make every woman look and feel great.

Shelley modeled the Herringbone Print Shirtdress. That year's take on the shirtdress was "a little softer, a little smoother, a lot snappier". It was a dress by Leonard Fashion of Paris that unmistakably oozed class and could be worn anywhere, anytime. A printed scarf, button earrings and a clutch was all that was needed to finish her look. And Shelley looked sensational.
