Shelley appeared in the September 1975 issue of Good Housekeeping magazine. In a spread called "The Best of Fall Fashions," she modeled fashions to sew, crochet and kint by Simplicity Patterns. The pictures were taken in The Old Village at the Historic Towne of Smithville in New Jersey, a restoration town "where life is lived as it was circa 1800." And Shelley looked positively lovely in the latest fall fashions for 1975.

Iconic Suspenders

Shelley became a Charlie's Angel in 1979. Her character Tiffany Welles was described as a sort of Grace Kelly-Lauren Bacall type of Angel, a very classy Angel. She sported a pair of iconic suspenders in a few Charlie's Angels episodes as well as in some promo pics for the show. The image of Shelley in those suspenders is so familiar to many a Charlie's Angels fan that it has reached icon status in itself.

Angel of Grace

The evening gown she wore in her 1st episode (which she also wore in some pictorials) was patterned after Grace Kelly's 1955 Oscar gown. And she looked sensational in it.

A 1998 tabloid article about Charlie's Angels memorabilia collector Jack Condon

Shelley, along with her fellow Angels, appeared in a 1998 Star tabloid article about Charlie's Angels memorabilia collector Jack Condon. By then, Jack had been collecting everything Angels for the past 22 years and had amassed thousands of Angels memorabilia. And to boot, he had pictures with all the Angels. "Shelley Hack was down-to-earth and told great stories," according to Jack - who penned (along with David Hofstede) the book The Charlies Angels' Casebook two years later.

One Piece Vest and Dress

Shelley appeared in the 1974 spring and summer issue of Sears catalog. In one section, she modeled a one-piece vest and dress in gray, white and red. With no accessories and with hair tied back, Shelley looked neat as a pin. But as you see, her smile alone conveyed how fab she looked for 1974 in her cute and girlish outfit. Shelley in White

Shelley posed for many publicity pics in 1979 and 1980. In one, she wore the white silk suit she donned in the epilogue scene of "The Prince and the Angel," a Charlie's Angels episode. And she looked radiant in the pics.

Cutter Publicity Pic

from the 1983 TV series Cutter to Houston

Shelley starred in her second TV Series Cutter to Houston in 1983. She starred with two up-and-coming actors Jim Metzler and Alec Baldwin. Shelley was the "name" actor among the three having been in Charlie's Angels three years prior; while Jim Mezler had just received glowing reviews for his performance in the 1982 film Tex and Alec Baldwin had just jumped to prime time TV from the daytime soap opera The Doctors (where he starred from 1980 to 1982.) Although the series had good scripts, it received mixed reviews and was unfortunately canceled after just seven episodes with two episodes left un-aired. Subsequent replays of the series aired all nine episodes intact though.
