Show 1964

Shelley Hack’s first spread was on the September 1964 issue of Show Magazine (Barbra Streisand was the cover.) The title of the piece was Shelley Hack: A Show First. The publisher of the magazine was George Huntington Hartford II who was an heir to the The Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company fortune. Hartford was born in New York City and was the son of Edward V. Hartford, heir to the A&P fortune and auto parts inventor. It was Hartford who spotted Shelley at a debutante ball an urged her to try modeling.

Sony PLEASE!!!

So far, fourteen of Shelley Hack’s work has been released on dvd and many are wondering when her Charlie’s Angels season will be released on dvd. Many have been pleading Sony to release the season but there have been no news as to whether or not it’s going to happen. Fans of Shelley (and of Jaclyn Smith and Cheryl Ladd) are utterly disappointed.

Suggestion to Sony: Release the entire series (from seasons 1 through 5) and market it as one package.
