Catalog Modeling

a closeup of Shelley from a spread for Spiegel Spring and Summer 1972

Shelley appeared in many catalogs during the 1970s. She started modeling junior fashions but later graduated to fashions for young women. She appeared in catalogs for Sears, JCPenney, Montgomery Ward, Spiegel and many others. Catalog work was common among models in the '70s; and many top models, as well as Supermodels, graced the pages of catalogs. Plus, catalog modeling paid much higher fees because of the volume of pictures and the work required. But, of course, with the dawn of exclusive modeling contracts, modeling fees skyrocketed to the millions. And as we all know, Shelley was one of the first to ink such contracts; and it catapulted her to superstar model and Supermodel status.

Alec played internist/ladies man Dr. Hal Wexler, who is getting through his probation, having been relegated to Cutter for being a little too fast and free with his prescriptions. And Shelley played Dr. Beth Gilbert, an ambitious surgeon on temporary assignment in Cutter and aspires to be a heart surgeon in Houston.

Coming on October 2019

Charlie's Angels will be released on Blu-ray this October

Charlie's Angels was one of the most phenomenally successful shows to ever come to the small screen. It's popularity and success can only be likened to other TV greats such as E.R., American Idol and more recently, Game of Thrones. This groundbreaking, Marvel-Studios-Avengers-big TV series was the very first female buddy-buddy show to hit the small screen. It also presented women as not just the fairer sex, but as strong and independent as well. The series ran for five seasons and went though six Angels all in all. The only male leads in the series were John Bosley, played by David Doyle, and Charles "Charlie" Townsend, whose face was never shown and was voiced by John Forsythe. David Ogden Stiers appeared in the pilot movie as liaison officer Scott Woodville - a sort of back up for the girls if they needed saving. When the show was picked up as a weekly series, the Woodville character was dropped as it was deemed that the girls were capable enough to save themselves. How's that for Girl Power?

Bonus: all the Charlie's Angels 2011 episodes
will be included in the Blu-ray set
starring Nadine Velazquez, Anne Ilonzeh,
Minka Kelly and Rachel Taylor

This October 2019, Mill Creek will finally release Charlie's Angels The Complete Series on Blu-ray format. Fans will finally get to watch all the Angels (Kate Jackson as the smart no-nonsense Sabrina Duncan, Farrah Fawcett as the sporty California girl Jill Munroe, Jaclyn Smith as the sultry and mysterious Kelly Garrett, Cheryl Ladd as the cute and sexy girl-next-door Kris Munroe, Shelley Hack as the classy intellectual Tiffany Welles and Tanya Roberts as the street-smart tigress Julie Rogers) in the highest quality video and audio format to date. The set will also include the 2011 TV reboot starring Rachel Taylor, Anne Ilonzeh, Minka Kelly, Ramon Rodríguez and Nadine Velazquez - as Abigail "Abby" Sampson, Kate Prince, Eve French, Juan Bosley and Gloria Martinez respectively. Can't wait.
