Shelley appeared in the September 1971 issue of the booklet Simplicity Fashion News. She appeared in the spread called "How To Put It All Together For Fall" which featured fashions in the "new 'denim-looking' fabrics" - blue suede-cloth and printed sail-cloth. Shelley modeled Simplicity patterns 9523 (a blouse) and 9566 (a bolero and mini-skirt), both in the denim-like fabrics. A unique belt, a pair of matching knee socks and clogs finished her look. Shelley looked so much in fash for the coming cold months.
