A Star for A Star

A Hollywood Walk of Fame Star for Shelley Hack!
Wouldn't it be great if it were real?

Shelley's first brush with superstardom was as THE Charlie Girl, as one of the Supermodels of the 1970s. Being one of Revlon's most famous brand ambassadors (ever!) made her (and her fabulous smile) familiar to everyone worldwide. Then, she joined the cast of the phenomenal hit series Charlie's Angels and her fame grew even bigger. After appearing in and getting critical praise for her work on stage (Vanities, Born Yesterday...) and in film (Martin Scorsese's The King of Comedy and Joseph Ruben's The Stepfather), she began delving into politics and the role of media in politics which culminated to the creation of SHMC (Shelley Hack Media Consultancy). SHMC was a company that internationally specialized on projects that focused on the intersection between media and the development of civil society (And its initial project was the first-ever televised political debate in Bosnia.) It also focused on doing institution building in pre- and post-conflict countries, developing unbiased TV, film and associated media projects in the said countries. She worked extensively in Eastern Europe and Western Asia. Shelley also helped  the largest media conglomerate in Eastern Europe develop and build the latest film studio complex in the region. Currently, she is co-president of Smash Media productions and has been producing family-friendly movies that entire families can enjoy watching over and over. Now with accomplishments like that, don't you think that she deserves a Star in the Hollywood Walk of Fame as well?
