Simpsons-Sears was a joint venture between the Simpsons department store chain in Canada and the Sears department store chain in the US. The joint venture began in around 1953. Shelley appeared on many catalogs for Simpsons-Sears in the 1970s. She appeared in several spreads throughout Simpsons-Sears Spring and Summer 1975 catalog.

In the spread called "Polyester Double-Knit Coordinates at Simply Sensational Low Prices," she modeled a three-piece outfit that brought a "new dimension in coordinate dressing." She wore the Tattersall-Check Print Shirt in navy on white with the High Style-Pants, also in navy. It was tailored in polyester double knit, had an elastic waistback and a button-tab, zip-fly closing. She topped her outfit with the Fashion-Important Vest, which was styled in thickly ribbed polyester knit and had self banding. She wore both the navy and the red versions on the spread. And Shelley looked 70s sensational.
