Shelley appeared in many of Penneys catalogs during her modeling career. In a 1960s issue, she appeared in a spread for the catalog called "The Flower Prints in Cotton Sailcloth" hwere she modeled The Color Explosion, a nature motif cotton dress in bright colors - blue and hot pink predominantly on a white background. The dress had a scoop neckline, an empire waist and puffed sleeves. Navy blue rickrack was used as trimming for the dress. Shelley looked young and sweet in her day dress.
