Shelley became the 5th Angel to join the cast of Charlies Angels in 1979. She filled the spot vacated by Kate Jackson earlier that year. She teamed up with Jaclyn Smith and Cheryl Ladd who filled Farrah Fawcett's vacated spot two years earlier. A year after, Tanya Roberts filled in Shelley's vacated spot. The series was a phenomenon that was felt worldwide; and each and every Angel had/has her own set of fans. They were all so different but all so Angelic. Kate Jackson was the smart no-nonsense Sabrina Duncan, Farrah Fawcett was the sporty California girl Jill Munroe, Jaclyn Smith was the sultry and mysterious Kelly Garrett, Cheryl Ladd was the cute and sexy girl-next-door Kris Munroe, Shelley Hack was the classy intellectual Tiffany Welles and Tanya Roberts was the street-smart tigress Julie Rogers.
