Stripe It Rich

Shelley in a Vicky Vaughn ad, 1971

Shelley appeared on many ads for Vicky Vaughn, a line of clothes that were designed for young women. In 1971, she appeared in their ad called "Stripe-it-rich Knits for the Trevira Era" which featured garments made from red/white/navy or green/white/lilac striped printed fabric for the modern young lady. Shelley wore a sleeveless mini dress made from a red/white/navy striped print fabric. A matching red fringed belt, a red bangle and a pair of red pumps with white polka dots finished her look. Shelley looked fab in her boldly striped getup.
