In 1989, Shelley along with Sela Ward, Brooke Adams and Stephanie Faracy starred in the telefilm Bridesmaids. It was about a group of friends who were reunited after a number of years at another friend's wedding. Audra Lindley and Jack Coleman was also in the cast. The movie was a staple on cable TV in the 1990s probably because it was a light comedy and was fun to watch. It was released in VHS format around the world for everyone else to enjoy.
