Jeans Get Set For The Sun

Shelley in a spread for Seventeen magazine, 1971

Shelley appeared in many issues of Seventeen magazine from the 1960s to the 1970s. In 1971, she appeared in their June issue. In a spread called "Jeans Get Set For The Sun With A Top And Some Easy Pieces," she wore hotpants-based outfits that were perfect for Sun-days and other fun days.

Shelley wore a "snappy" outfit made up of a pair of buckskin hotpants with curved-up pockets by A. Smile topped with a jockey jersey by Things by Dune Deck. A cap by High Hatter, a belt by Feder Fashions, knee-high socks by Le Roi and shoes by Famolare finished her look.

Shelley also wore a buttercup-colored T-shirt by Garland over a pair of tulip-printed button-fly hotpants with patch pockets by Lady Wrangler. A belt by Elegant and a fun heart-shaped hair pin finished her look. She also wore a block-colored ribbed T-shirt by It Still Does over a pair of pocketed and cuffed hotpants by Stuffed Jeans. A belt by Vera and braided hair finished her look. And in all the outfits, Shelley looked sensational.
