Shelley appeared in the pages of the 1971 spring summer issue of Modern Needle/Craft magazine. She was featured in several spreads. In the spread called "Smart Shawls and Ponchos", she modeled the Triangle Stole, a triangular-shaped stole with a striped design and fringed edges on two sides. Anyone could knit the smart-looking stole that was perfect for those cool spring summer evenings. In it, Shelley looked chic as usual.
