Shelley became Charlie's newest Angel in 1979; and, like Cheryl Ladd two years prior, a fabulous two-hour episode was written to introduce and welcome her character Tiffany Welles into the fold. Shelley along with co-stars Jaclyn Smith, Cheryl Ladd, David Doyle and the Angels staff and crew were flown to the Saint Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, to film parts of the episode. Reports of mishaps and problems during the filming came out, but the the cast and crew made it through unscathed. And none of that mattered when the episode finished at no. 1 in the Nielsen's when it was finally aired.
