Shelley's third foray into series TV was the 1986 series Jack and Mike in which she played the lead journalist Jackie Shea opposite Tom Mason who played her restaurateur husband Mike Brennan. Jacqueline Brookes played Jackie's editor Nora Adler. The sixth episode "Cry Uncle" according to tvguide.com:
"Mike discovers that the 15-year-old boy his sister abandoned
to his care is actually a missing child being sought by his father. "
Guest stars were a very young Chris O'Donnell as Evan, Carol Potter as Kathleen and Al Nuti as Brian Moore. Let's hope the series is finally released on DVD.
