Shelley appeared in many catalogs throughout her modeling career, from the late '60s to the late '70s. Mail-order catalogs were at the height of its popularity at the time. They were big-book size publications that contained a list and pictures of the general merchandise from, usually, a department store that were available for purchase and delivery straight to the homes of their customers. Everything from homeware to toys were featured in these catalogs... as well as garments and the latest fashion pieces. Shelley appeared in spreads throughout the Sears spring and summer 1969 catalog.

In the spread called "Isn't It Great To Be Caught With Your Coat On?," Shelley modeled the latest in all-weather coats - in poplin of polyester and cotton, protected by a water and oil repeller. She wore the Dandy Coat which curved close to the body, had princess seams, and a half-belt at the back. It had a western-style front yoke, and was lined inside - around the body and sleeves. She wore it over a ribbed turtleneck top. And, of course, Shelley looked great and ready to face those rainy summer days.
