In 1987, Shelley's career was in full swing. As critics dismissed all of Charlie's Angels as mere flashes in the pan, each and every one of them was proving it wasn't so; and Shelley was the latest to disprove them. With the surprise hit The Stepfather and her TV series Jack and Mike picked up by ABC the year before, Shelley had become very busy indeed.
