A Knit Wardrobe Full of Great New Looks

Shelley in a spread for Montgomery Ward catalog, 1971

Shelley appeared on the pages of Montgomery Ward in 1971. She appeared in a spread called "A Knit Wardrobe Full of Great New Looks". She modeled a five-piece wardrobe set made up of a tunic shift, a pair of pants, a shirt, a U-neck top and a skirt. All the pieces could be mixed and matched and could be put together in any way. It was designed to to travel without hassle - staying neat through packing, washing and wearing. It came in a lilac combination and a pink combination. And Shelley made each look a must-have.
