In 1974, Shelley appeared on the cover of the fall fashion issue of Miss Chatelaine magazine. Miss Chatelaine was a popular Canadian magazine for fashion-conscious young women. It was first published in 1964. In 1979, the magazine was re-named Flare and in November 2009, it celebrated its 30th anniversary.
