a closeup of Shelley from a spread
for Co-ed magazine, April 1973
Shelley was one of the busiest models in the 1960s and 1970s. She appeared in countless ads, catalogs and magazine spreads. In April of 1973, she appeared in a spread for Co-ed magazine called "Invitation To A Prom: The Pretty Look and The Romantic Look" which featured a variety of long and short dresses by Simplicity Patterns any young lady could make and wear - depending on her preference - to the prom or a special dance. Shelley wore the wrap-and-tie halter top in a solid color over a pair of palazzo pants in a printed fabric - Simplicity Pattern no. 5355. Hair accessories, a chunky beaded bracelet and matching footwear finished her look. And Shelley looked both pretty and romantic.
