By 1978, Shelley had become one of the highest paid models in the world and had reached Supermodel status. She was a hot commodity and Hollywood was her natural next step. A year before, she had a small but memorable part in the Academy Award winning film Annie Hall. And by 1978, she had her first leading lady role via the film If Ever I See You Again. Although it bombed at the box office, Shelley just kept on going. She appeared in the mini series Married: The First Year and did voice work for the feature Time After Time. In 1979, she became a superstar via Charlie's Angels.
