Shelley was an in-demand model in the 1970s. Early on, her clean, All-American and wholesome good looks was all the rage. She appeared on many magazine spreads from Seventeen, Glamour and Mademoiselle. She then later transitioned to a more a sophisticated and sexy image but with her clean All-American vibe intact, appearing in spreads for Vogue, Harper's Bazaar and the like.
