Contemporary Fashions 2

Shelley in an ad spread for Celanese Contemporary Fibers, 1965

One of Shelley's first ad spreads came out during her first year of modeling, in 1965, for Celanese Contemporary Fibers. With the theme "how to dress for your boyfriend", she wore fashions that was sure to please any young lady's main man (so retro). To please artist Lance, Shelley donned a day-to-evening woman's suit by Camelon, a two-piece ensemble made up of a suit jacket with satin-like collars and cuffs (as well as a matching belt) and a skirt which ended just above the knee. Matching textured hose and peek-a-boo pumps finished her look. And Shelley looked like a an inspiration to any artist.
