Shelley appeared on many issues of Seventeen magazine during her modeling days. In 1971, she appeared in their February issue, in the spread called "Great Workaday Denims." It featured the latest denim looks for modern young misses that they could wear on a daily basis and look fab.

Shelley wore the "Gaucho'd Girl look. She wore a denim vest and clamdigger set with a patterned shirt that had a bandana as a bonus - all by Bobbie Brooks. A belt by Elegant, matching hose and clogs by Olofdaughters finished her look.

Shelley also wore a denim coat that had tie-ups instead of buttons by Galapago, Ltd. The hooded coat had white stitching to cheer up the navy blue color. Printed boots by Sbicca finished her look. And in both looks, Shelley looked fabulous.
