In 1974, she appeared in an ad for I.Magnin, a California-based high fashion and specialty goods luxury department store with branches across the US. In the ad with the tagline "What News From the Desert?" she modeled a hooded zip caftan in fast-drying cotton and stretch terry that was a perfect Christmas gift for that season. Made by Royal Robes, it could be worn after a swim or a shower. And Shelley looked spectacular in it.
