Bridal Couture '76

Bride's magazine was and is one of the most widely circulated mags that cater to brides and all their needs. It contains bridal and bridal-entourage fashion tips (as well as groom and groomsmen), food and nutrition writeups, health and fitness advice, beauty tips, planning and location articles and more. Shelley appeared on the pages of Bride's magazine's December 1976 issue in an ad for Christos for Bridal Couture. Christos Yiannakou was a bridal designer who was recognized and renowned in the bridal industry for his unique and beautiful wedding gowns, bridesmaids dresses as well as flower girl dresses. He was especially known for his creative use of lace (primarily Alençon, in addition to Guipure, Chantilly and embroidered laces), turning his designs into works of art. At one point in his design career, Bride's and Modern Brides magazines awarded him "Bridal Designer of the Year." Shelley, as always, looked sensational in Christos bridal concoction.
