Shelley became famous in the 1976 when she became THE Charlie Girl; and in 1979, she became even more famous when she joined the cast of Charlie's Angels. She came in to replace Kate Jackson's empty slot in the hit TV series and was the perfect replacement (everybody was so excited). Not only was she beautiful like Kate, she was smart like Kate as well (and designer Nolan Miller didn't like her, like Kate, as well). Shelley, the intelligent ivy-league Connecticut-bred Supermodel, was a Smith College graduate and had studied archaeology in the University of Sydney in Australia. Beautiful and intelligent, this well-educated mannequin was the perfect choice to replace Charlie's smart Angel.
