Shelley was THE quintessential Charlie Girl and appeared in many, many ads for the brand. In 1977, she appeared in a newspaper ad for Charlie called "Charlie's Mirror Image." It was a promo that offered a $23.50 dollar value regular-and-magnifying mirror on a flexible goose stand for just $5.50 with any $5.00 purchase of any Charlie product. Customers had a choice between Charlie skincare, Charlie makeup, Charlie hair care and, of course, the Charlie fragrance.
